7 ASMR Videos For Siesta

Listening to ASMR in the afternoon helps me maintain focus during those longer days, and occasionally I pair that activity with a nap. Has anyone else brought a nap into their routine recently? Only me? Nevertheless! Today I have for you several ASMR videos, and I will explain a little about each video, and how it can benefit you and your productivity.

Good, ole fahsioned r e l a x a t i o n, that’s what this first video is.

So relaxed…and all of the aches and pains from the day just melt away, and your arms become relaxed. The tops of your arms…your elbows…your forearms, and your hands, and your brain becomes relaxed, and your head and your face all become relaxed. And any tension from the day just melts away.”

What is it about the sound of waves that makes for an innate sense of peace? Do all humans feel at peace when they hear the sound of waves? Oh my! This is not the time for such deep thoughts! Now is the time for a small dose of relaxation in the afternoon. The kind of boost one might receive from a session of meditation. Let us continue.

Silver Hare

Silver Hare is a boss. Using ASMR as a medium to deliver spiritual guidance, he has created something we always wanted, and some of us knew we needed. The back drops of his videos set the vibe, and then in a way on Silver Hare can, he helps us all to heal. Mentally. Holistically.

This video is particularly good for an afternoon session because there is no talking. So if you want to escape fully from the sometimes stressful sound of human speech, Silver Hare’s got you covered.

ASMR Darling

It’s easy to consume content from ASMR Darling, and I believe that is part of the reason her subscription count is so high – she is easily the most subscribed-to asmrtist on this list. The first time I was exposed to ASMR Darling was years ago, but the first time I watched one of her videos, I went to her channel solely intent to watch her most popular video. Immediately, I was hooked.

ASMR Darling doesn’t have to get weird, because she stays weird. Is this why I feel so comfortable watching her videos?

If you want to tell your friend about ASMR, but you are scared they are going to think strange of you, consider showing them an ASMR Darling video, and tell them “this girl makes ASMR as not-werid as possible. You’ll see what I mean.”

Hermetic Kitten ASMR

Hermetic Kitten and I go way back; I’ve been watching her videos since like 2013! Do you remember where you were in 2013? I was in Wisconsin…I digress…

Did you know that taking a nap in the afternoon has proven benefits to improve memory? According to thesleepdoctor.com one study found that a 60-90 minute nap can aid learning as well as a full night of sleep.”

Holy cow! You’re telling me I can nap for 90 minutes and it’s healthy?

Don’t let anybody tell you you’re lazy for taking a nap.

Sufficient Whispers

Let’s get real, sometimes ASMR in the afternoon does not mean sleeping, but it can still mean relaxation! Personally I love the guitar, both playing the instrument and listening to it. Sufficient Whispers has created this video, and it is a very good way to go about relaxing in the afternoon, while also maintaining vigilance in regards to diversifying your skillset!

Slight Sounds ASMR

Sunny day ASMR videos are some of my favorites!

Sometimes you just need that thing, for it is apart of life as much as eating, and swimming, and ASMR. I speak of course, of personal attention. Slight Sounds ASMR is great at making us all feel loved, and for that, we must thank her. With the addition of this sunny day ASMR, she can relax us, and help us nap in the afternoon! It’s always nice falling asleep to the vision of blue sky and white clouds.

This last one is a video I created. Have you ever been to San Francisco? Whether you have or you haven’t, this is a great tour take [I certainly think!].

Are you asleep? If you are, mission accomplished! Chances are if you’re really reading this in the afternoon, you will probably wake up within 60-90 minutes. I usually don’t find myself clonking out for anything more than two hours maximum when I choose the Siesta move.

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Remember!

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.
