ASMR Daily 175 Rambles In The Rain

Watching Goodnight Moon slowly creep to one million subscribers on YouTube is a stark reminder of how difficult it is to achieve that number. She has been making high quality ASMR for a few years now, and the oldest video on her channel is from three years ago, but her channel was started in January of 2014. I’m not sure how soon after her induction to The Community she got popular, but I believe it was pretty immediate. I expected her to reach 1 million subscribers awhile ago, but currently she is only at 721k.

Goodnight Moon reminds me of someone I know irl, at least in how she looks. Actually, my friend looks more like Katniss Everdeen, and Erin from Goodnight Moon does not look like Katniss Everdeen, but they both look like my friend Karleigh.

I hear that all humans look so similar because at once upon a time, there were only 300 of us left, but I don’t how much I believe that story. Humans do look oddly similar. My Grandfather told me that as an old man, he sees a little bit of someone else in everyone he meets. Personally I make a vigilant effort not to compare you beautiful humans to each other, because I think it spoils the opportunity for an organic relationship, but sometimes I look into someone’s eyes and can’t help but draw similarities.

When you associate two things with each other for unrelated reasons, you are more likely to find similarities that don’t really exist. If aesthetic associations meant anything, then my friend would probably make ASMR videos, and Erin would be in nursing school.

Goodnight Moon

Erin is not in nursing school, no no no. She just dances in the rain and then collects advertising revenue. Sounds like my future wife, actually.

Goodnight Moon and many other asmrtists attended some sort of get-together last year, maybe earlier, and I remember seeing about it on social media. Ever since then she has been hanging out with Marno ASMR, and they are definitely dating because she published a video declaring it. What more! Is that PJ Dreams definitely has, or had a crush on Goodnight Moon, and he talked about it in his videos from time to time, and they even took a photo together at the event and I was pretty happy for the bloke, but then the next day I learned about this Marno guy because I found him on @fresh.blush. I’ve only watched a little bit of Marno ASMR, as there are so many asmrtists for me to checkout and write about, but I will eventually review his stuff for this website. Jeez, and you know I don’t think I’ve featured PJ Dreams on this site either, and I know his ASMR is kick-ass. He does this thing where he puts a bowl over the mic and then taps it, and it’s lit af. It’s as lit as falling asleep next to a campfire.

We are entering the ramble-zone, and so I am going to wrap things up today. Happy Monday! It’s going to be a good day. If you are working to fight an addiction, and you think that you might fall off the wagon today, you gotta nix that thought! We manifest what we believe, and if you believe you might fall off the wagon, you really might. You’re a human, and most nothing can stop you from living your life the way you want to live it. The real question is, how do you want to live it? Instead of considering what would make you feel good, consider if living a life that leaves an impact is something you want, and then take a long hard look at the impact you are currently going to leave behind.

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
