The ASMR Daily #176
Azy Dreams ASMR Does An Amazing Wild Thornberrys Roleplay
The Wild Thornberrys was a TV show that ran on Nickelodeon, I think in the mid 2000’s? Maybe it was a 90’s TV show and they were re-running it. We’re going to find out! There’s a lot to cover with today’s featured video, but there is also a lot of stuff to cover regarding this blog and it’s daily publication. Let’s cover the blog first.
If you haven’t noticed, we have kind of changed formats. Or, I have kind of changed formats. It’s mostly just me. There have been a few other people involved with the blog over time, such as @shi.ny.art and Moosetonic ASMR. Mademoiselle Moose has been just so incredible in helping promote this blog, and I am always on the lookout for a way to thank her. She puts a link to this blog in the description of every one of her YouTube videos, with the clarification: “A Blog Written by a Recovered Alcoholic about ASMR and Addiction.” Moose is down for the cause, and if you are an Asmrtist reading this, I hope you are down for the cause too. I write to promote ASMR Culture and Good Vibes. I used to write more about addiction recovery, but now I focus on simply making sure every day’s article is a piece of valuable content. Sometimes it’s about addiction recovery, sometimes it’s about building an ASMR channel, sometimes it’s a personal ramble, and sometimes it’s a lesson in pop culture. Today’s article is covers two of those bases.
My brain is a scattered one, and I know I’m dropping knowledge, but it’s dropping randomly like bird spit. Recently I have been leaning harder and harder into the idea of this being an ASMR News blog. I changed the title of my daily article from “Video Of The Day” to “The ASMR Daily” and then yesterday I changed it to just “ASMR Daily,” but I think today I am going to change it back and keep the “The.”
I produce The ASMR Daily, and this is the one-hundred-and-seventy-sixth issue. I feel good saying that. Most importantly, I feel confident saying that.
Often I write articles and talk about how to profit with an ASMR channel, but me personally? I am trying to learn how to profit with a blog. This week I have begun creating a Wiki for ASMR, and I intend to send out questionnaires to asmrtists so that I can better create these pages. There will be a lot of fun questions on the questionnaire, and if you are an asmrtist interested in being on the Wiki page, email me at email@example.com with “ASMR WIKI” in the description, and I will make sure to email you a questionnaire so you can get on the Wiki page. You must have either 1000 subscribers or 50 videos to be on the Wiki page, but you can still send the email and maybe you’ll slip though the cracks (;
As I implied earlier, there are a lot of ideas floating around in my head, but many of them are closer to daydreams then real ideas. For now I am focusing my energy where I can make the most impact, which is with my daily blogging. Always there are other projects in motion, but the stuff you are reading right now is what’s most important to me. I just love to write.
After 175 days I am feeling I have my daily blog under control, and so I am now tackling the task of building my Wiki page. It’s been on my mind for awhile, but I am feeling optimistic about it now. My goal in making the Wiki page is to draw people into the website, and then hopefully they stick around for The ASMR Daily, among other articles that I publish. Most blogs that are profitable provide information in the way that Income School describes on their YouTube channel, but I am doing things my way! My way is to write a daily blog aimed at providing long term wisdom. Are you ready for The ASMR Daily? Moreover, are you ready for today’s featured video? It’s a truly amazing video and I haven’t even started talking about it yet!
Azy Dreams ASMR
The Wild Thornberrys originally aired from 1998 to 2004, and it’s a show about a traveling family of six. There are a Mom and a Dad, and there are Two sisters, one of whom is the narrator of the story. Then there is a talking chimpanzee, and…well…then there is Donnie.
Truly, I was a huge fan of The Wild Thornberrys. Neither of my parents did much traveling, and so I never got to see much of the world growing up. The Wild Thornberrys though? They were all over the globe, and it was fun to experience those trips with them. The parents in the show are documentary filmmakers, “famous for their televised wildlife studies,” according to Wikipedia. The daughter and narrarator of the show Eliza Thornberry can talk to animals. Donnie is voiced by Flea.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Red Hot Chili Peppers, they are a band from California, and probably one of the best-selling music groups of all time. If your from the United States then The Chili Peppers are from California. If you’re from California, they are from LA.
I know I said I had a lot to talk about with today’s featured video, but I guess I just wanted let you know about how Flea is Donnie, if you didn’t already know. Also, I think it’s worth mentioning again that Azy Dreams did an amazing job with her Wild Thornberrys themed roleplay. The fact that this video only has 496 views makes me think YouTube needs a new algorithm! Next year at this time, I wouldn’t be surprised for this video to have 10k views, but then again, next year at this time I am fully expecting that Azy Dreams will have 10k subscribers!
I’d love to tell you that there is some assurance with hitting 1000 followers, but it’s very obvious that YouTube is bogged down with how much content they are allowing on their platform, and so the right videos don’t always get shown to the right people. I am working on a solution to that problem, at least within the ASMR Community. Would you believe me if I told you ASMR hasn’t hit it’s zenith yet? For now and always, those who produce and keep producing high-quality content will continue to have the best chance at success, such as Azy Dreams.

Everyday Sobriety Advice
I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.
When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”
Good luck, My Friend
Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.
Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”
Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”
Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”
Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”
I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.
Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
