Have You Tried Using ASMR To Get Sober? I write a daily blog about addiction recovery, and everyday I recommend an ASMR video. Everyday! That’s how much I believe ASMR can help individuals with sobriety. I think it’s worth reiterating everyday.
For the last 240 days, except May 27th, I have posted a daily article about addiction recovery. This blog has always been about addiction recovery, but it took me a while to get efficient at conveying my message. I’m freaking out!
I want to make a living writing online, and this is my second website. I decided that daily writing was the move for me, because I am able and I want to. Isn’t it funny how life blends together? Slowly though, like how Leonardo painted Lisa.
I’ve wanted to make a living writing online for longer than I’ve been sober, so that desire came first. Then the desire to write about addiction recovery. Then the epiphany that I could, in fact, produce one article everyday on a certain topic, and finally I came to the consideration that addicts could really benefit from something that is daily. 90 meetings in 90 days you say? Well, I’m hoping you can get that done online. Nothing wrong with still going to the in person meetings [I know it’s a weird sitch rn], but adding this short, daily piece of writing into your recovery repertoire is a very practical way to start introducing yourself, the addict, back into the reality that is. I keep you grounded, here, everyday; Reminding you Where you are,Where you could go, Where you are going, and Where you need to be if you want to be happy. Happiness thrives under certain conditions, and those conditions are not so different from person to person. Sunlight and Socialization! Those aren’t the only two things I talk about. I’m here everyday dropping my best advice about addiction recovery. And now here is moving.
This daily blog is moving to addictionrecoverydaily.com, and asmr.community will become a dedicated website for ASMR. What does this mean? It means I’m going to write articles about ASMR, and post them to this website. At least, for now. Eventually we will be doing more then that, but right now, I am not we, but still – we good. The email should include some details about why you want to write about ASMR, and how long you have been utilizing ASMR. So ASMR Community is going nowhere, Currently however, not many people read this blog. Most people find my website looking for ASMR, and some of you stick around, and some of you come through social media and find this website, but most people I think have been coming here for ASMR. So ASMR is what You are going to get! I’ll be doing many reviews, interviews, practical use of ASMR discussions, oh my! A great many things. I won’t be publishing to this website everyday anymore, perhaps only 2-4 times per month. But the articles will be long, and well packed with the ASMR knowledge that I feel will benefit you the most. Having access to information in a consistent and reliable and manner is one of the keys to success. Good information. You gotta trust me that I am providing good information. Okay check this-
Today’s Video Of The Day is from ASMR Latte. This is her most recent video featured down below. If you read this blog, or know me if real life, or follow me on instagram, then you…well, you know me. And I am about to say something for the straight men out there. Others might not think twice about me recommending this video, but if you’re a burly dude out there trying to get sober, just know, that I have watched many videos a lot like the one below, and it has helped me get sober. It’s all about today, right? It’s about staying sober for the next hour, right? Well today’s video is 50 minutes long, so you can, right now, in real time, spend 50 minutes battling your urge to use your drug of choice by watching the video down below. And just to…idk, make sure you feel comfortable, I want to let you know that I am a straight man, and I don’t ever wear makeup, but I do enjoy the video down below. If you find it relaxing, just let all those other emotions flow out. If you feel weird about watching ASMR, or weird about getting makeup applied virtually, just let those emotions flow out. You have bigger fish to fry right now. Getting through the next 50 minutes.

This blog is part of my recovery, it’s not just some business I’m trying to rush to profitability [although when I look up information about running a business on the internet, most of what I find is people telling me to rush to profitability – just not in those words]. This blog is a business, and I do want to grow it to be profitable – at no cost to you – but first and foremost: producing this blog is a way for me to stay sober, and hopefully by sharing how I feel and sharing what I know, we can get sober together. Go through recovery alone? Nah. Twain did that, so hopefully you don’t have to go through that.
Just like Latte, I like to do things slowly, precisely, and with proper stance. I’m 13 minutes overdue for publishing this article, which is not proper stance. But I’m feeling a bit loosey-goosey with the format change coming up haha, so I am just taking my time today – up to a point. So with that, I’ll let you enjoy the video!
Everyday Sobriety Advice
I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.
When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.
Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”
Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”
Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”
Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”
I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.
Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.
