The ASMR Daily 185

Jupiter’s 80th Moon, Egoistisch

I’m almost positive that today is a first here at asmr.community, because I am featuring a video from Twitch today! Normally I pick a YouTube video, almost always ASMR, and then I write my blog post inspired by the video and I try to everyday make some sort of connection between ASMR, and Holistic Wellness. Anybody can watch ASMR, but I want to help you utilize it to it’s fullest potential. Not everybody who watches ASMR is interested in that, but some are. If ASMR has been your introduction to mindfulness and selfcare, then you are at the right blog to continue that journey.

When I write this blog, I make an effort to write in a fashion that is quite different than my normal style. Not in cadence or condolence, but in format and content. At times, I feel that my stream of consciousness writing can diminish from my end goal of getting my point across. For instance, on my personal blog I almost always state what time it is, and where I am writing from. Currently the time is 00:55 on October 2nd, 2020, and I writing to you from my Dad’s house in Cape Coral Florida. The first paragraph of this article was written about 7 or 8 hours ago, because I knew I was going to an event to try and sell some shirts tonight [I sold three!], but since I publish these articles at 08:00, I was either going to have to wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning and write, or stay awake after I got home. I’ve decided upon the latter.

While I was at the market I posted to my Instagram story, and I meant to ask if yall would be interested in handmade crafts from local artists that I meet. It seems to me no harm and no foul adding additional products to the shop. If it ends up in the shop, it’s gotten my personal approval. Do you trust me? I won’t let you fail.

I want to give Asmrtist’s a way to make money, because from what I’ve seen in my 28 years, it’s that if you are in the business of helping people make money, you’re in business. Personally I have had entrepreneurial dreams since my young days, but I think many of us do.

It’s not wrong to let the money guide you. That’s my American principle and I have faith that can’t be shook in the statement. It’s also not wrong to have a feeling of selfishness creep over you as you consider your goals and dreams and eventually, your mission. What is wrong, is not tending to those feelings if they exist. It’s okay to let the money guide you in a selfish manner, but not everyday, and it’s not okay to ignore that you have that in you. Some have darker demons, some pale.

Today, we focus on ourselves, but like the true ASMR Warriors we are, we focus on ourselves with a companion present. Meet Jupeater, whose name sounds better if you say it with a German accent.

Okay…well, apparently I don’t know how to embed Twitch videos onto my blog yet. I am now recalling that I have experimented with this before. So! Today you get words and a hyperlink, instead of words and a video. You can click her name above to open the video.

Me? I’ve been awake for way to long right now. The time is 01:58 now, and I am going to hit the hay! See you in the morning!

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Remember!

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
