Sticking To The Script

Layered ASMR is powerful. ASMR without layers is like rap music without ad libs. The further we get into the evolution of the community itself, the more layers we will see, until the days of single-layered-audio ASMR become a distant memory. If you want to have a successful…anything, but specifically if you want to have a successful ASMR channel, you gotta stick to the script. ASMR Sharm is writing the script, so just do what she’s doing. Don’t worry if you are copying her! I learned from a guy in the drum department at Guitar Center a longgg time ago that there is no new drumbeat to create, and this person told me that everything they play is just something they heard and copied. Sharm is doing fine on her own! Unless you dress like her, call yourself ASMR Sharm 2, and invite yourself over for Thanksgiving dinner without wearing a mask, I don’t think she is going to care that you “copied her channel.” There is no such thing as copying! There is only copyright infringement! We have laws, at least in America, to protect peoples ideas and hardwork. At the same time, those laws allow for healthy competition. If you’re worried about copying someone else’s ASMR, you are being paranoid. Just do what you love, and pray you don’t get sued. That’s what I do! #sparktwain

I JUST WATCHED HER HOLD IN THAT SNEEZE! When a sneeze leaves the body it can travel at 99mph, and if you hold your sneeze in, it kills brain cells. Now, holding in a sneeze obviously doesn’t kill as many brain cells as alcoholism or drug addiction, or even sugar addiction! You know…I’m pretty sure that no human in North America or South America ever tasted sugar until Christopher Columbus brought it here in 1493. Sugar isn’t good for the human brain, and it’s proven to cause dementia. I believe that Coca-Cola and Frosted Flakes only exist because they generate a high profit. OKAY! So there is one thing that both consumers and distributors can agree on: people like sugar. People love sugar! People, especially in America, love sugary cereal and soda and candy. Sugar addiction is real, and I know many people that admit to having a sugar addiction. To me, I see no difference between candy bars and cigarettes. I used to consume both, but now I try to only consume cigarettes, although I haven’t had one for the past 4 days, and I’m feeling pretty good about that. I quit smoking in September of 2017, and I didn’t have another cigarette until April of 2019 when I smoked for 3 weeks in Vietnam, and then I quit again from [the end of] April 2019 until July of 2020, and I just put them down again 4 days ago. I spent 2 weeks considering the implications of smoking again before I started up in July, and I came to the conclusion that since I only live once, I am not going to beat myself up over wanting to have a few cigarettes. Now! I knew 100% that I was not about to smoke for the rest of my life when I started again in July, and…that’s just the end of the story. Naturally, I knew my desire to quit would eventually occur, and here we are. I did put them down for 3 or 4 days in August too, but until I have the money to ‘be myself,’ as I put it, then I risk smoking cigarettes again. Every person has the right [ideally] to do what makes them happy. I like to wake up at 5am, go to a coffee shop, write for 2 or 3 hours, and then smoke a joint and make tyedye shirts or explore San Francisco for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, I just can’t afford that lifestyle right now…plus, there’s obviously more to my ideal lifestyle than what I just wrote. I’d love to hangout with my friends too! I’m sacrificing things that I would LOVE to do, so that I can do even more of that stuff in my 30’s and beyond. It’s a stressful time in my life right now, and so sometimes I smoke cigarettes because…I just do. But you will never read that I picked up an alcoholic drink! If I have a cigarette I can feel that it’s bad for my body, and it makes me feel like shit, and 100% of the time I regret smoking every single one of them and they make me yawn and feel like shit 2x…but alcohol might literally just get me killed if I ever pick it up again. Who knows! I might get drunk and blow my brains out! Do I seems stable to you?

I’m kidding. Well, actually I really don’t know. Other Chris, once he gets drunk, might punish me for withholding alcohol from him for so long…there is no telling what might happen. Spark Twain has never drank alcohol, but both Chris, and Other Chris have been plenty drunk. Are you following me? Haha. Am I the crazy one? Sometimes it’s so hard to tell.

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Remember!

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.
