The Map To Sobriety

For anyone that has explored this website extensively, they might have found today’s asmrtist under the ‘what is asmr?‘ tab on the homepage. Otherwise, today’s ASMR Queen has never been featured as one of our Video Of The Day selections! This just goes to show that you can run a quality addiction recovery blog for over three months and barely scratch the metaphorical surface of the method being written about! I’ll never be able to explore every ASMR video, but as long as you are aware that there is more to explore, I only think it’s important you get the gist of ACSP, which stands for ASMR Community Sobriety Program. The gist is this: If you drink a lot of alcohol or take a lot of drugs or eat a lot of unhealthy food or can’t stop hiring prostitutes because it’s ‘just so easy when you live in the city’ and you think that your actions in relation to said substance abuse are leading to adverse reactions in your like, i.e: your shit feels rocked daily and you know deep down that you are, at this point, incapable of taking care of yourself while you continue your current actions, you gotta stop that shi

It’s time to turn a new leaf! Yes! Life is going to be boring af sometimes, but once you eliminate the urges to abuse substances/actions which cause you to be incapable of caring for yourself, those boring periods become blank slates – areas of your life that must be occupied.

As those times are in fact boring, you grow to appreciate this bordem. Countless humans have achieved greatness and left there mark on human history because they were bored! Also, is the end goal not to retire, and then what? Are you going to retire and be bored? You can’t drink your retirement away! What kind of life is that? And so it has been written! That when you put the bottle down, you may find picking the throttle up is required!

Gentle Whispering ASMR

How’s your throttle opening up? Back when I used to work at the auto parts shop, I never asked one person that question – ever. It’s not a normal question! But today I truly want to know: How is your throttle opening up? You’ve got a long life ahead of you! If you can learn to work your throttle with precision, you can divvy up your energy in the most prosperous and profitable way. But you know what? You need fuel! So that beckons us a real life question: What fuels you? What is the purpose which drives you to be alive? And if you don’t know the answer to that question…well I think a lot of individuals suffering from substance abuse can’t answer that question. That’s the crisis! and the tragedy!

It’s not a big deal what you do with your life,

it’s just a big deal that you do something.

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Remember!

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
