ASMR that is Funny!

Personable is better, and Miss Manganese is that. As far as first impressions go, this girl left one upon me that will not be soon forgotten. Today’s Video Of The Day is very much my speed! It’s fast ASMR, but it’s not fast because of the tempo; it’s fast because of the temper. We’ve got a Community full of fake doctors, but not all of them have patience.

Today’s votd made me laugh, and I really enjoyed that. When an ASMR video makes you laugh, are you not relaxed? Smiling is typically a relaxing exercise. The first time it happened to me, I felt like Sully the first time he came back with a tank full of laughter. At first I was it was intense, my thoughts were like- “Ahh! I’m laughing at an ASMR video. Too personal! Too personal!” but then when I digested the entirety of the experience I realized that laughing fuels my soul, and perhaps even more so than relaxation. When someone makes you laugh, they are also showing that they understand your humor, and therefore they may understand other parts of your personality as well. Do you think it’s harder to make someone laugh than it is to put them to sleep? Perhaps…perhaps..perhaps…

Can you tell me what part of the UK she is from based on her accent? My [very bad] guess would be Liverpool, and that is based on the fact that she vaguely reminds me of this girl I met from Liverpool on the Green Tortoise. I’m prolly gonna catch hella flack for that bad guess. I’m going to show today’s video to my dad after he is done working and see if he can guess her accent. He might surprise us with his accuracy, let us find out! [He’s guesses the accent to be placed slightly north of London, and he said that Liverpool is way off. I wonder when I will ever find out the answer to this question]. I do wonder sometimes if the presence of the internet is causing the myriad accents in the UK [and all over the globe] to slowly merge together. Individuals have been consuming media without losing their accent for over 100 years, but the cultural exposure allowed by the internet is ten-thousand fold that of television or radio. I would be interested to hear what someone from the UK had to say about this. I am making no guesses, am an strictly in wonder about the subject, and making observations.

Omgggg I’m listening to this video while I am writing this and her flashlight doesn’t have any batteries! Her reaction was priceless, and allowed for some amazingly authentic voyeurism. You know what they say: Voyeur is as voyeur does. Or…something like that. My friends mom said it, not me. He’s not even my friend, he’s just some dude that sat down next to me on a park bench one day, and he just kept talking and talking and talking, but honestly it was interesting stuff. I missed 14 buses as I continued to listen to his story, but eventually I had to get on the bus or I would have missed the concert.

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

Don’t underestimate the power of Yoga! Specifically Yoga With Adriene. My shoulder is broken, and so you can do some Yoga for me too. I really wish I could…

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
