The Best ASMR 4 The Best Sobriety

Earlier today I was listening to the Business Casual podcast, and Scott Galloway was on the show for the second time. He was Kinsey’s first guest, and actually, I have been tuning in since the show’s debut last September. Of course I used Spotify – my favorite method of consuming media – to listen to the episode [I know I write a blog centralized around using YouTube, but I listen to a lot more music than ASMR].

Scott said something really interesting, and I would like to quote him verbatim: “The dirty secret of Universities is that about 30% of the faculty – whose the adjuncts, clinicals, and lecturers – teach 80% of the students. It’s gonna go to 10/90. Because if my enrollments have gone from 160 to 400, that means 240 students are not taking other electives. And one of the reasons you’ve seen faculty deploy the weapons of mass distraction to try and not embrace technology, is they see the writing on the wall. And that is, unless you’re an outstanding lecturer – and this is happening across every industry when technology comes in – the best radiologists in the world, and the best finance professors in the world are going to see their currency increase massively, and everyone else is going to incur a fairly substantial decrease in their currency. This is what network effects, that is what globalization, that is what digitization of delivery does.” – Scott Galloway, 2020.

Can we translate that to ASMR? I think so. In fact, we are seeing it in real time! The best of the best are rising to the top, and overall it makes competition much more fierce. All we have to do is look at Starling ASMR for an example. Many things had to come together for her to achieve the success she has achieved – something were out of her control; most things were within her control – but you know what? She’s better than most asmrtists, and on par with the best of them.

I’m here to help addicts and alcoholics find solace in consistency and ASMR. I must recommend the asmrtists I believe will give me readers [you] the best chance at overcoming alcoholism! I never recommend an artist just because I think they deserve it. Hardwork doesn’t always pay off, at least, if you’re working in the wrong direction. Have you ever seen my ASMR videos? They’re bad haha. Why do you think I stick to writing?!?

You thought it was going to be Starling, didn’t you? Soon…soon.

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
