Keeping with the theme from two days ago, today we are going to learn how to say Goodnight in fifteen different languages. SPOILER ALERT the languages are French, Portuguese, Japanese, Spanish, Dutch, Arabic, Samoan, Chinese [without looking in the comments, I’m going to guess it’s Mandarin], Green, Twi [I’m not sure what country this language is from yet, but we will figure it out together], Urdu [again, I am unsure about this languages origins], Turkish, Lao [Sharm has it spelled different in the description of her video, and I’m not, like, an expert, but Laos is 1 of the 5 countries I have visited outside the USA. You could also call it Laotian, but I’m not sure they call it that in Laos. Sa Bai Dee!], Mongolian, Vietnamese. Okay that’s the whole list. Let’s Get into it!
Sharm is bigger than her ASMR videos. She is very active on social media. Just by following her Twitter feed I have learned that she is funny, kind, and loves anime. However, it is also true that she make high quality ASMR content.
The content that Sharm produces has a very real chance of helping individuals suffering from addiction. ASMR is a form of meditation, but when you first start using it, allow it to be nothing more than a distraction. If you like the sounds; if you like the vibe, just enjoy it as long as it lasts. Once you have been listening to ASMR for days/weeks/months you will become comfortable combating your psyche within those whispered bounds. Sharm’s content can help you, but if you are suffering from addiction, first you need to help yourself. Well well well – It appears you already read a blog that is geared to help individuals suffering from addiction! Sounds like you’re on the right track; sounds like you’re helping yourself.
Enjoy learning how to say Goodnight in 15 different languages, and don’t feel pressured to learn everything the first time listening to or watching the video. Everything takes time, and it isn’t until the proveribial dust of our irl problems has settled that we will be able to identify how the process could have gone any fast.
If you hope to practice patience, you must first maintain constant vigilance in regards to your holistic wellness: Health, wealth, and happiness. In that order.
I was going to end the article there, but now I must elaborate on that last statement. Health, Wealth, and Happiness. In that order. Yes, I am confident when I say “in that order.” You see, most of the members of my family have worked either until the day they died, or until their health did not allow them to work anymore. If you do not opt to sacrifice happiness and comfort in your youth, then you will be forced into sacrificing them later in life. Having money’s not everything. Not having it is.

Everyday Sobriety Advice
I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.
When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.
Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”
Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”
Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”
Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”
I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.
Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.
