The ASMR Daily 16
Have you ever watched an ASMR video that was recorded outdoors? Videos in that peculiar category have grown to be some of my favorites. [Okay, and now I have spontaneously begun a playlist called ASMR Outdoors, and there you can find the two outdoor videos I have been in love with for many years [in addition to today’s video, and eventually, many more, but at the time of my writing this, there are only three videos on the playlist].].
For today’s votd, we have selected something which has recently been, you guessed it! Filmed outdoors! However, I chose the artist because he is particularly talented, and then subsequently I choose the video because, well, I like videos that take place outdoors.
Tappy Gilmore [am I the only one who thinks that’s fitting?] filmed this one as part of a “Lo-Fi Challange,” which is something I have seen going around the ASMR Community recently. Lo-Fi is short for Low Fidelity, which is a fancy way of saying Low[er] Quality [than we are used to].
TippyTappyASMR; First, let’s talk about how aesthetically pleasing that name is! Second…let’s just listen to the good sounds.
As stated above, today’s video of the day was filmed outside. While I was watching, I discovered both the video and audio were recorded on an iPhone, and for that, the quality is really quite good.
But that isn’t to say I required the entire video to get tingles. My personal suggestion [if you haven’t already started watching the video] is to jump straight to 6:30 and watch from there. Everything he speaks about prior, that information is available in the description.
It is true that, as I write more articles, and do further research on the current state of the ASMR Community, the more comfortable I will be displaying my true emotions and deductions on this blog. Enjoy. Take my recommendations seriously, but with a light step.
As far as a TippyTappy, the most recent video on his page is quite unique, and did in fact give me some tingles. I encourage you to check it out here.

Everyday Sobriety Advice
I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.
When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”
Good luck, My Friend
Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.
Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”
Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”
Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”
Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”
I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.
Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
