Pain Is An Illusion

Tarot Reader ASMR is highly knowledgeable and years wiser than most. Her tally with the cards privies our palpable gaze, and so we turn the sonder upon our own strangeness. You are not alone; I am strange with you.

Can Tarot really help to untangle the web you have weaved with your life? Yes, it’s possible. If you allow the cards to speak, they will speak. They can’t speak while you are thinking so much. Perhaps you are overthinking? Well, perhaps not now, but I’m betting you know you overthink. We all overthink from time to time, but it’s important to maintain constant vigilance in regards to overthinking, because it can be the death of a perfectly good dream.

“Slowly but surely, we are leaving the Year Of The Rat behind.” Yes! Ain’t that the truth!? Who woulda thunk that the Rat would bring so much carnage? and it’s so small! Really though, both the rat and the virus are quite tiny. If the year of the Dragon wanted to slay us, it would have used Aliens, but the Rat works with the small and mighty. Perhaps we are off the hook from any more catastrophe’s however, and perhaps the year of the Ox will be more forgiving.

You are not a rat, and neither am I. Today however we have been decked a card with a rat on it, and I feel it. I’ve got so many things going on, I feel frantic; like a rat!

‘Pain is inevitable, but the worst part about pain is how we think of it;” how we perceive it is how we conceive it. Living in fear of something can often times bring about that which you fear, and cause unnecessary pain. Just look at Batman. He perceived bats to be more scary than anything! And he conceived a bat-man more scary than anyone had known.

Did he overcome his fears, or is Batman a victim of Stockholm Syndrome? The Three Of Hearts, drawn after the Four Of Cups [the card with the rat on it] tells us that we should not become victims of Stockholm Syndrome. We can, of course, live as the rat forever, but will that make us happy when it’s all over? For some: Yes. For most: No.

Batman doesn’t live as a rat…he lives as a bat! Bruce himself would say he lives a life of unnecessary pain! If we live as Batman, will that make us happy at the end of it all? You only get to live once! Are you going to live on the edge with Batman, Gandhi, and Genghis? Modern day greatness is more eloquently achieved, and you must have patience. In reading this blog post you are demonstrating patience, and you are living your best life.

Embrace your fears, because the pain you fear is an illusion. First you must think about the logical order of events that will occur as you embrace these fears. Only then can you know where destiny will be, so that you can embrace it promptly, and avoid as much pain as possible.

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Remember!

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
