The ASMR Daily 171

A Truly Inspirational Asmrtist

Anyone that enjoys ASMR but hasn’t yet checked out ASMR Haven, well, I think you’re missing out. Her videos are all very similar in a really good way. They all have the same vibe, and she gives us a blast of new content, all the time, and you always – kind of – know what you’re going to get. Her consistency is admirable, and I have modeled my new ASMR Channel quite heavily on her methods.

Oh! I totally forgot to tell you! I’ve started an ASMR YouTube channel where I will be doing dedicated ASMR of all different kinds. This blog has a yt channel, but I have different intentions for it, plus I’m not so sure ASMR dotCOMMUNITY is a very SEO friendly name, and I want to create content that is memorable, relaxing, and most of all watched.

I’ve always wanted to start my own ASMR channel. Back in 2013 I recorded a video using the built-in webcam and the built-in microphone on my Grandpa’s laptop. The video was unwatchable and I never really gave it another shot, which I don’t beat myself up about because I had my alcoholism to wrangle. Actually, I did give it another shot. When I first started this blog I created a YouTube channel and I thought I was going to be able to create an ASMR video everyday. That idea crashed and burned. The videos are still there, but they are nothing like what I intend to create with my new channel.

I’ve watched ASMR Haven grow from 2k subs to 20k subs, and I’ve watched Starling ASMR grow from 2k to 40k. I’ve been watching ASMR for years and thinking to myself “with my experience in home audio recording I could probably make some really cool ASMR,” but only recently did I have the confidence to crawl out of my shell because I am motivated by the money, which I think is not innately a bad thing.

My first goal with my new ASMR channel is not monetization through YouTube ad’s, it’s monetization through selling t-shirts on this website. The goal is to sell 50 shirts per month by Christmas, and I don’t think that is unreasonable. A lot of Asmrtists ask for donations, but I am giving people the option to support me through purchasing my apparel. It feels ethical, and I am happy to be in this position. I am however anxious for things to pay off, however I do not think that other people should feel this anxious as they venture into the world of business, and so I am very happy to let you know I will be discussing my journey of building an ASMR Channel here on this blog, and hopefully we can all learn together.

Okay! I’ve been listening to today’s video while I’ve been writing this, and it’s another banger! Check it out.

ASMR Haven

That concludes The ASMR Daily #171. Admittedly, it was mostly just me rambling today, but that’s what I enjoy rambling, and so from time to time I just must ramble on.

Enjoy ASMR Haven! Make sure to subscribe to her channel, and leave her a comment letting her know how you found her video! Haha. And on a personal note, Thank You to ASMR Haven for inspiring the video I made today, and the videos I intend to make in the future. Watching her channel grow has been really inspiring, and I know she deserves it because her ASMR is amazing! My first-first goal is to create content as high quality as hers. If you are planning on, or are in the process or creating an ASMR channel, check Haven for a relaxing lesson on how it’s done!

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Remember!

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
