Ephemeral Rift is an extremely gifted individual when it comes to inducing wellness and ASMR. Personally, I have been watching his videos for years. Sometimes I refer to him by his initials: ER.
Without ER, I might not have overcome my alcoholism. It’s not like I only listened to ER, of course, but his videos I have always found to be particularly good. While I am writing this article, I have today’s video playing in the background. Honestly, this asmrtist impresses me more every time I listen to him. The demeanor he wields is epicly calm, and his confidence in front of the camera is contagious. It’s obvious he wants you to succeed!
Since I began writing this blog, I have been exploring as many asmrtists as possible. Through my journey of overcoming alcoholism, I only listened to a handful of these asmrtists regularly, maybe 30 or 40 of them. It remains however, that I have played more ER videos than any other asmrtist.
The proof is in the pudding!; ER has our back!
Within the last couple of days I had decided that ASMR for sufferers of PTSD was a very logical addition to this website, as PTSD can drive people to use drugs and alcohol. When I went to YouTube searching for this specific thing, Ephemeral Rift not only had the top result, but he also had multiple results.
Sanctuary by Ephemeral Rift has four videos in the series, but I think our Community could use more! I believe that other asmrtists should begin to make content specifically geared for sufferers of PTSD. I see a lot of asmr girlfriend videos, but as of late I feel like I am not seeing enough ASMR videos geared at tackling real issues . Of course, this is due in part to the fact that I am seeking out new ASMR everyday, but still! I wish I found more videos to tackle the underlying issues of loneliness, not just the loneliness itself.

Everyday Sobriety Advice
I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.
When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.
Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”
Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”
Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”
Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”
I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.
Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
