The ASMR Daily 55

If you require an asmrtist that has a septum piercing, your options are quite limited. However, that is far from the reason I have selected Ocean Whispers for today’s Video Of The Day.

The fight for sobriety, or happiness, whichever you are questing, is an inevitably long one. Thusly, it is important that the asmrtists selected for this blog continue to be there for you long-term. The ‘spirit of dedication’ is something I became familiar with in Vietnam [however I created that phrase just moments ago]. When I was in Da Nang, I interviewed to Teach English as a Foreign Language [TEFL]. The individuals that interviewed me were less concerned with my teaching abilities [being from the U.S.A. gets you on the shortlist], and more concerned with my dedication to the job in 6-month increments.

After the interview, I returned to my hostel, smoked two joints, and decided it would be morally wrong to let those kids get attached to me and then dip out after I attained their love and respect [I prefer to work with adults, and teaching for 6 months would be impossible if you don’t enjoy the job]. So I declined the employment offer! …even though the compensation would have more than offset my expenses, working only 4-6 hours per week.

One thing we are actively working on here at asmr.community, is creating a more methodical and scientific approach to helping alcoholics and addicts. In the future we will offer advice to asmrtists: how to best create videos that will help those two specific avatars. First I will philosophize the methodology, then I will synthesize the practicality. Something like that is easier said than done, because there are many paths to salvation.

If that sounded a little preachy/insane/radical, just scroll back up to the part where I smoke two joints, and ride the wave again.

Invisible Scratching is a trigger I am nigh unfamiliar with, but as it turns out I enjoy it quite thoroughly. Ocean Whispers mentions in the beginning of the video that she chose blue for the color of her nails because we [the viewers] might find it relaxing. I find it relaxing! People who don’t care about aesthetics are almost never put off by things aesthetically pleasing, but for those who desire pleasantry in that regard? They notice.

The blue nails add a pleasant accent to this video. Is it wrong to wish the paint was even more animated? Like, if she painted “SCRATCH!” across her nails, might I feel even more relaxed? I try not to input my opinions with these articles, but there is nothing shameful about being a little more WiLd when it comes to giving tingles [or writing articles]. We are past the Atomic Era, and have been booted into the Information Age! Did you see what Elon and Grimes named their kid?!? When things like that are happening in the world, it grants permission for everyone else to think wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy outside of the box.

So, as I was saying, Ocean Whispers strikes me as an artist that, although new, is ready to put in the hard work to achieve success. She keeps posting new videos + she is very active on twitter; these are signs of a goal orientated individual. The kind of person you can grow a virtual attachment to, because she will continue to publish content and contribute to The Community.

Not only is important I suggest asmrtists dedicated to helping you on your journey to success, but also it’s important that you can learn from the attributes of said asmrtists.

It extinguishes the motivation, to watch others quit.

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Remember!

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
