The ASMR Daily 60

Today’s video includes nothing but invisible triggers, and to be honest, it’s some of the most unique ASMR I have ever discovered, and I feel lucky to have found it.

Nana Naji ASMR‘s earliest content became available on Jun 11th 2017. Since then she has gone on to garner over 7 million views, and 60 thousand subscribers, and her most recent video came out two weeks ago. It’s not the one below.

So, the day is May 30th of 2020, and I want to know: are you following the news? Protests and Riots are breaking out all over the country! What an exciting time in American History! And I am happy to be standing on the correct side of history, featuring day 2 of 14 consecutive days, where I will be featuring only Asmrtists of Color to support the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

The police in my country shot pepper bullets at a reporter yesterday. In New York the police are getting very violent. I imagine it is that way all over the country, in response to the riots. Can you believe the state of America? Racism is alive and well, and it’s unfortunate. Now is the time to stand together and demand change, and I am happy I am able to contribute via this blog. I am choosing to do what I am good at during this time, which is write.

Sometimes the individuals involved within the ASMR Community are not the most confident individuals, but I know we are all working to get more confident. I’ve been working on my confidence over the last many years, and I have grown immensely as a person in the process. During that process I have come to live more in the moment, as well, and although I am not completely enlightened, I like to think that my wisdom grants me a unique ability to speak, and speak well. So when I speak over the next 13 days about Black History in America, and I speak about the changes that have occurred, are occurring, and will occur, know that I am speaking from a place of confidence. Forgive me from telling gruesome tales, and pledge me for telling the truth.

Everyone has heard of Rosa Parks. In fact, I heard she sued OutKast over that song “Rosa Parks.” I don’t think she was ever a rich woman. Hmm. After reviewing the link I attached to her name, and reading the portion about the OutKast lawsuit, I’m disappointed to find she didn’t use that incident to profit off her name in a different way. The free advertising was there. I digress…

How many people have heard of Emmett Till? A Martyr of the Civil Rights movement, Emmett died on August 28th, 1955. The same hatred that killed Emmett is still alive today. So if you are going out and protesting for change over these next weeks, months, or years, know that ASMR.Community has got your back!

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

Don’t underestimate the power of Yoga! Specifically Yoga With Adriene. My shoulder is broken, and so you can do some Yoga for me too. I really wish I could…

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
