The ASMR Daily 65

Bladewhisperpro 23 brings us a slice of relaxation with today’s Video Of The Day, something we all deserve during these dire times.

I love it when an asmrtist brings us a bit of his or her reality, and in today’s votd, Bwp23 gave me some serious nostalgia from my younger days. I used to work in landscaping, that’s the reality.

My memories of lawn mowing, tree trimming, and weed whipping feel like an entire lifetime ago!

Since my time as a landscaper, I have gathered an exorbitant amount information to help those looking to cut alcohol or hard drugs from their life. This information came to me in two ways, both from conversation and personal epiphany. The fact that drinking more than 3 days in a row or 4 days out of the week is entering into an area of “alcoholism,” is something I learned in conversation. The fact that alcoholism and addiction are perils best fought holistically; fought by strengthening both the mind and the body, is something I deduced logically. If one does not admit to alcoholism, they can still quit drinking, but neither is possible without identifying and strengthening the confines of the mind.

Bwp23 is an asmrtist that brings selflessness to his videos, and he possesses a massive gravitas because of this.

This video arouses a sonder unlike many others!

Personally, I just love experiencing the world through ASMR. The Asmrtist’s that tell stories about their life and the world they live in, could inadvertently become some of the greatest story tellers of our time. If whispering is not the most peaceful way to get a message across, I’m not sure what is. This is one of the many reasons I believe ASMR has a future in the realm of meditation, mental health, and holistic wellness.

It’s ASMR.Community’s seventh day of continual support for the #BlackLivesMatter movement, and it’s a beautiful thing to see so many asmrtists also participating in the fight for equality! SlightSoundsASMR has been quite active on twitter regarding the current events, and Wildheart ASMR created the website BlackASMR which will align very well with the growth of her YouTube page.

Huge names in ASMR like Gibi and Glow have been supportive on Twitter.

The group known as Anonymous has suddenly sprang back to life, and although I think they can be a little extreme in their delivery, I gladly accept them as our ally in the flight for equality.

Today’s good news is that all four officers involved in the death of George Floyd have been arrested. This is the State government speaking to the Federal government, and the people at the same time: “We are listening.”

I read from AP that the police have arrested 10,000 protesters!

For all of history, the State has been shy and shallow in their efforts to jail police officers which commit murder. The frequency of police officers committing murder on camera and getting away with it, is a statistic the general population of America has been exposed to for at least 10 years. When’s the first time you saw a young, black American, die by the weapon of a cop, on the news? How many of their names can you remember? Tamir Rice, Laquan McDonald, Antonio Martin, and Michael Brown.

Sandra Bland could have helped to change the system, but she was found dead, hanging in her jail cell, after being pulled over for a minor traffic offense only days before. Months after her death, a video she filmed of the arrest was released. It’s diabolical. This country is due for an overhaul of the policing system. I’m not sure what the United States is going to look like in two years, but I guarantee it’s going to feel different.

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Remember!

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
