The ASMR Daily 72

Today’s Video Of The Day is from asmrtist Sung Mook. She published her first video in November of 2015 and has since accumulated over 7.4 million views, with 77k subscribers.

The ‘about’ page on her YouTube channel says:

“Believe in what brings your peace.

Do what makes you happiest.
Live gracefully in your truth.

Recycled StarDust
AKA SpaceBitch”

Now that’s a channel description I can get behind!

Not to mention, a name like Sung Mook rolls off the tongue so incredibly nicely, + she is also also a young and beautiful individual. It seems to me, that if Sung Mook published more content, content more frequently and on a schedule, perhaps, she could, and quite likely would, rise to become one of the stars of ASMR.

She has quite a history behind her, and has amassed 77k followers! That’s significant, but she is teetering on the edge of The Tipping Point, I’d say! How long before she has 100k followers? Or 150K? Not long! And that is getting into the point of significant YT income.

Full time income is an attainable goal for any asmrtist.

Let’s do some math: Since November of 2015, Mook has released 83 videos. That’s a period of 61 months, and with 83 videos it puts her at…1.3 videos per month, which isn’t a very rapid rate of production. She has accumulated, on average, 1.2k subs per month.

For comparison, Batala has published 558 videos in a span of 36 months, putting her at a rate of 15.5 videos per month. She also has 384k subs, putting her at a rate of 10.6k subs per month!

YoungPrince has 200k subs, 145 videos, and his channel is 31 months old. He averages 4.6 videos per month, and 6.4k subs per month.

Raffy Taphy has posted 86 videos since September of 2015 , and that puts him at a rate of 1.38 videos per month. He also has 661k subs and 136 million views, which is significant. He an average rate of 10.6k subs per month.

Gibi averages 12.3 videos w/ 54k subs per month.

ASMR Bakery averages 6.2 videos w/ 13k subs per month.

ASMR Sharm averages 13.0 videos w/ 11k subs per month.

Mook’s latest videos have been getting more views, consistently, than her older videos. All that being said, her last video came out six months ago.

Six months! Imagine if your doctor went on a six month vacation without telling you. When you got sick, you’d end up with some bumbling idiot from the 5th floor that doesn’t understand your problems, and frankly, might not care [I’m under the impression that most doctors do care]! So when I suggest Sung Mook on this blog, I want to express that I am really excited about the potential she has as an asmtrtist, but I also wonder how inconsistency in regards to content publishing impacts a channel, especially in opposition to a channel that posts on a schedule. Does YouTube and it’s magic algorithm prefer the latter?

However, when it comes to someone like RaffyTaphy, I get the feeling he is being compensated so heavily for his work that there is hardly a chance he is going to quit the asmr game. He has probably gotten used to the yt money! Which is totally fine! AND I believe that Sung Mook makes good sounds; the artist makes good sounds! So I believe she deserves 10x as many followers as she has!

All that being said, I believe Mook will reach 10x as many followers even if she doesn’t increase her output. I also believe her growth would happen exponentially faster if she increased her work flow and production output.

Along with consistency and frequency, asmrtists will be aided in growth by cooperative goal setting and strength of internal networks.

A prosperous ASMR Community should consist of small, vibrant, and lively internal communities, with both parties [the creators leading the consumers] participating. I’m talking about an ASMR Convention! Hmm…I wonder if I can create a Patreon for a party like that, or if it’s more of a Kickstarter thing…Actually, I was hoping to hold the first ASMR Convention this year in San Francisco above Bar Vesuvio, but as it turns out, I am first and foremost: a writer…so I’ve been trying putting more focus on that. However! I am still very interested in the small business aspect of many industries, and ASMR is at the top of my list because, well, I write this blog; I write this blog because I believe ASMR can help individuals [like yourself] overcome alcoholism and drug addiction, just as it continues to help me fight the very strenuous battle against addiction.

In an effort to keep this blog real af [because alcoholism is no joke], I only suggest asmrtists that have well-honed their healing properties as an artist.

I suggest the artists whom I believe can help if you are suffering with alcoholism and drug addiction [although there is no reason their videos can’t help with more than just those specific sufferings]. One of the factors I consider when suggesting an asmrtist is consistency. Athough Sung Mook has 4 years under her belt of publishing ASMR, I always feel a little wobbly-going when an artist goes M.I.A. for six months. Nontheless, quality is there; aesthetics is there; bring in the candles and turn out the lights, you’re about to have a big ass fish tattoo across your face for the rest of your life.

Quintuple is what comes after quadruple.

It’s the 13th day, and second to final day of continued support for the #BlackLivesMatter movement! The struggle for moral amendments is one of the most important wars we will wage during the Emotional Revolution. As the year progresses and protests persist, it is important to keep #BlackLivesMatter at the front and center of our vision. We know there are many many problems that need to be solved through peaceful protest’s, and we know we need to fight attrition and iron-grip capitalism world-wide [except for maybe Norway, Sweden, and Finland]. However, there are levels of urgency with which things needs to be addressed, and this hierarchy of anarchy is also perfectly aligned with the best sequence of operations [in my eyes]. Once black lives matter, then brown capitalism will matter, and I want to live through that era of excellence and acceleration. Choo! Choo! We got the America train coming through to fight for freedom across the globe using our dollars!

I’ve long been under the optimistic impression that anyone can do anything they set their mind to.
Just imagine if our generation[s] harnessed that optimism into forward global progress!

Personally, I believe that progress starts with small business, however that mindstate doesn’t work for everybody, and that is just fine. However, from the alcoholics to the asmrtists that read this blog, I believe entrepreneurialism and ethical capitalism can be the guiding light with which you find your path to, first, financial freedom, and second enlightenment.

There’s probably going to be some stuff in between financial freedom and enlightenment, but we can just chalk that up to ‘living in the moment’ right now.

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Remember!

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
