Chynaunique ASMR

The ASMR Daily 80

Fame is like Gasoline

Energy Plucking has grown to become one of my favorite ASMR triggers. It’s probably an evolution from my love of hand movements; I really enjoy it when asmrtists do stuff with their hands. When an asmrtist brings their hands to the forefront of their video making, they are giving you an additional piece of themselves, in the most literal sense.
Some videos are just a voice.
Some videos are a voice with a face.
Some videos are a voice, with a face, and some hands!
[has anyone done a Clue ASMR roleplay? Why do I feel like I’ve seen that? The artist could tap on an object (the murder weapon) out of frame, and then make us guess the what the weapon is based on circumstances of the crime (of course, the guessing game would be more effect than entertainment, since the viewer would likely not have enough information to correctly guess the murder weapon). Perhaps I should do this…I have been meaning to get back into making ASMR videos. It seems like the most logical way to advertise this blog, for which I have big plans]. I digress…

Let’s jump into today’s Video Of The Day and it’s powerful positive vibe!

Chynaunique ASMR

Chynaunique ASMR is an extraordinarily popular asmrtist, boasting 1.83 million subscribers w/ 283 million views on her channel. Wowza! Chyna has achieved a no-holds-barred level of fame, and damn if she doesn’t seem to be handling it well!

Fame is like gasoline: it can propel you to the stars, or burn your house to the ground. This goes without saying that: most humans play with fire in their lifetime; Can we agree on that? [I first mean metaphorically and second literally]. The fact is everyone has given thought to how they would start a fire, but how many of us have considered how we would contain such a fire if it got out of hand?

"this is fine" meme
This is Fame.

In yesterday’s votd article, I created the term ‘Gods of ASMR.’ Today I must answer the question: is Chynaunique a Goddess of ASMR? The answer will take more time for me to determine. You see, it’s not about how popular an asmrtist is that allows them to be a God or a Goddess in my book. It’s about whether I believe their work to be timeless, purposeful, and powerful. In order for me to determine if a selection of ASMR is timeless, purposeful, and powerful, I must first build a personal connection with said ASMR.

In the case of Chynaunique, I know that most of her videos contain minor mukbang, and although I support the mukbang community in every way, it played almost no role in my journey to overcome alcoholism. Because of this, I do not have the confidence to say I understand mukbang like I understand asmr. That being said, I am going to watch more Chynaunique, and almost certainly find out that she is an ASMR Goddess!

P.S. Today is a very special day in The United States, as it is Juneteenth! On June 19th 1865 the enslaved workers of Galveston Texas were told they were free men and women, and on June 20th there existed no more slavery in The United States [even though it had already been outlawed for two years!].

IF you didn;t notice, we are still fighting the extremely turbulent battle of racial tension in America. If you ask me? Anyone still alive in 2021 that doesn’t understand #BlackLivesMatter, is going to have a rough go-of-it for the rest of their years. Hatred may run deep in America, but Freedom runs deeper

Everyday Sobriety Advice

I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.

When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”

Good luck, My Friend

Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.

Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”

Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”

Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”

Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”

I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.

Remember!

Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

He does a livestream every night at 21:00 Eastern Standard Time, and his live streams are a great place to receive support, gain motivation, and listen to encouragement in regard to addiction recovery. His program is based on the Twelve Steps.

SMART Recovery is another great program for individuals who are ready to tackle their addictions.

Don’t underestimate the power of Yoga! Specifically Yoga With Adriene. My shoulder is broken, and so you can do some Yoga for me too. I really wish I could…

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
