The ASMR Daily 97
Cut Em Out
Sometimes you need something fast; like lickety-split, sooner than already there, stop pouring the oil cuz we forgot the filter – type fast. Today, we have one minute of ASMR.
As I approach 100 day’s of writing about Alcoholism and ASMR videos, I would like to thank you for reading! In celebration I am inviting you start an open conversation with someone about ASMR or Alcoholism. Personally I am comfortable talking about both subjects, and I do so with a free tongue. If you know someone you believe to be at risk of alcoholism or addiction, it is important you talk to that person, and it is important that you do it boldly, and with kindness. Addiction is a disease, however that fact does not allow us infringe on anyone’s freedom of choice, so conversations are required to discern the proper course of action. Everyone has the right to be an addict, as it is, among other things, a choice. However no one has the right to go around wreaking havoc, and as more and more people come into being People of the Emotional Revolution, how are we to ignore the emotional havoc addiction and alcoholism wreaks upon the common good of mankind? We are people, wholesome and true to ourselves, and each and everyone of us have the right to abuse substances, but freedom of expression swings both ways, and while substance abuse is simple, emotional stability is not. This is why addicts will always lose in the long run, because it’s just not a suitable way of life. The freedom of expression we have allows us to break that mold, in the case of, say, Keith Richards or Ozzy Osborne, but for the most part individuals that use drugs and alcohol don’t live longer, better lives. The same can not be said for people who dabble, but the line is drawn so distinctly that we can all see it. We all have the right to consider individuals partaking in substance abuse as a poison to our well being. I promise that there is a definitive time at which point you should cut certain individuals out of your life that are emotional poison. When this point is? I can’t tell you that. I can tell you that the time for action won’t feel like an extraordinarily special one, however once you are confident, and you have decided that the time to cut someone out of your life has arrived, you must do it fast.

Everyday Sobriety Advice
I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.
When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”
Good luck, My Friend
Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.
Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”
Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”
Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”
Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”
I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.
Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

If you are looking or more information about ASMR, I’ve found the best place to learn about the subject is ASMR University. Their information is accurate [to the best of my knowledge], and plentiful. I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
