The ASMR Daily 204
What's In A Name Anyway
My first impression of Sleeping Artist ASMR? She’s got a slick title page. Okayokay, and then I went back to her Twitter profile [that’s where I discovered her. Come find us on Twitter] because I like to check and see if people label their genders in their profile. She does, and she also has “science is real” written in her profile, which is something I can get behind. Just the other day I wrote about how we will one day be able to predict and prove coincidences with mathematical equations. Does that sound crazy? Well, so did splitting the atom.
Another thing I will say before we watch the video is: I have never watched an ASMR collab. To me it’s like sitting in a room with multiple therapists. However, that seems to be a popular thing nowadays. Plus, I’m turning to the…spark side…because I will be contributing to a collaboration from Bryoni ASMR. Also, Sleeping Artist ASMR has a collab coming out tomorrow at 14:30. Make sure to visit her page and click the “set reminder” button underneath the video so you don’t want to miss the premier!
Okay, lets dive into today’s video.
Sleeping Artist ASMR
Don’t you just love medical roleplays? OoOoOo and I also love follow the light triggers. My best irl experiences with ASMR have always been at the eye doctor.
Whoa, and she just did this thing where she puts the light close to the camera, and the whole screen goes dark except for the circle of light. That was nice. I enjoyed that. Now she’s poking me with a q-tip…or cotton swab, if you don’t wanna get sued, I guess. Technically q-tip is a brand, like Kleenex, or Bubbler.
The triggers in this video are rapid, and very pleasant. Okay! I’m officially declaring Sleeping Artist is going to be popular. If you do the right things; if you stick to the script, you will find success. I honestly believe that. Hmm…but…I can’t lie about it, the name Sleeping Artist ASMR is going to be an uphill battle with branding. Do you trust me on this? I’m not even sure why I feel that way, but I just know it to be true. I’m going to have to circle back to this idea. All I know is that the name ASMR Glow is more “fun” than Sleeping Artist ASMR, and I think the younger people will be less inclined to spread the word of Julie’s beautiful channel because it has a lot of syllables. I call em how I see em. I am loving this video! – I bet I will love all the videos on this channel!
Under The Seaaaa
The Princess Bride
There Will Be Blood
Those are my answers to the word association game. That was quite fun. Do you see what I mean? This channel is…lit! She’s very confident in what she does, and that allows for myself, and the other viewers, to be more confident in themselves! I’ve watched thousands of ASMR videos, and the thing that separates the professionals from the amateurs is definitely confidence. Give a confident Asmrtist two sticks and a smartphone, and they will make magic happen! Sleeping Artist is one of those individuals that would make magic happen. But do you see? When I remove the “ASMR” from her name, it’s pretty generic. It’s a name, but it’s also very much a noun.
I’ve been standing in my garage for like six minutes considering if what I want to say is rude…but I have to believe that people will not find me as a bad person, even if I say some dumb things once and a while haha. However, I am not catching the vibe that SA is about to be offended. Are you ready?
Big Mama ASMR. Except, that’s already a channel name taken by two different ASMR channels. However – and I am detaching all emotion from this, it’s simply a marketing strategy – Big Mama ASMR is a name that people would definitely remember, and I think the younger folks would be apt to spread the word free of charge. I have no idea if SA is a mama, and it’s not impossible she is around my same age, or even younger than me. I also don’t know how big she is, necessarily, but I think it’s less about the artist, and more about the viewers. Big viewers would probably gravitate towards that name. Am I trippin right now? Cuz I don’t think I am. But like I said, that name is already taken!
Success can definitely be garnered with good ole fashion elbow grease, consistency, and confidence. But a solid marketing strategy never hurt anyone. Even New Coke.
The name ASMR Twice is available. That name would pair nicely with a unique sort-of intro. When I type that in I get an extraordinarily popular yt channel called twice which is based in Korea, or at least, there is a lot of Korean Hangul on the channel.
ASMR Swim is also available. I have nothing to go along with that, I just think it’s a name that people would talk about, and it’s available.
This is definitely the deepest I’ve ever gone into the subject of changing the name of an ASMR channel. SA doesn’t have to change her name to succeed, but I can’t help feeling that she would find more success if she did. Now, could it also destroy her channel? Absolutely. However, with less than 10k subs, I think changes are probably not that big of a deal. This ASMR is really good, and I believe firmly that it can help people, especially those who are interested in using ASMR as a tool during addiction recovery. However, with a successful marketing strategy, I bet those individuals could find SA before they find my blog! My successful marketing strategy is simply to get on YouTube. Raffy told me to get on YouTube, and honestly, he’s right af. I’m Spark Twain’s ASMR. Is that marketable? I’m not sure, but I do everything under the Spark Twain name, so I like to think I have my marketing strategy figured out.
ASMR Grow, Jewel ASMR or ASMR Jewel, ASMR Vapor [although when you look that up you get nothing but videos of people vaping], Future ASMR [appears to be available], ASMR Plus is available – and that’s a shortened idea of ASMR +1. For a long time I have added the phrase “+1” to a the end of things I say, all the time. You make dinner, but I make dinner +1.
Sleeping Artist! I hope you don’t, like, you know…feel obligated to change anything about your channel just because I wrote this article. I friggin love your channel!
Am I so guilty for wanting more people to find it? Or am I guilty for thinking it won’t happen as things are?
I’ve been known to be wrong. In fact, I pretty much have nothing in life right now, so maybe listening to me isn’t such a good idea. But I wouldn’t have written all of this if it wasn’t truly how I feel.
You can expect another article written about SA soon.

Everyday Sobriety Advice
I am a recovered alcoholic/drug addict, but I am not a qualified addiction counselor. To help other alcoholics/addicts achieve sobriety, I have created the mantra’s below. Although I call them “steps,” I believe that all four mantra’s should be recited in concurrence.
When the urge to drink alcohol or use drugs comes upon you, I suggest reciting these four steps, and then implementing an activity to “kill time” until your urge to use drugs/alcohol is less intense. I suggest you use ASMR videos to “kill time”
Good luck, My Friend
Below are the steps of admittance required for using The ASMR.Community Sobriety Program [ACSP] successfully.
Step 1: “Sobriety is a choice, and it is up to me to make the right choice.”
Step 2: “Not everybody will be able to achieve sobriety, but that knowledge does not prevent my success regarding sobriety.”
Step 3: “The urge to imbibe (substances that I know will prevent my success) is finite. Sometimes the urge will exist, sometimes the urge will not exist.”
Step 4: “Sobriety is not the same for everyone. Success is.”
I believe the steps I listed above are a complete, non-exclusionary list of all mental admissions needed to achieve your goals regarding sobriety.
Everybody’s definition of sobriety is different, but everybody’s definition of success is the same.

I mostly work with the application of ASMR, but there is a whole lot more to ASMR than using it to gain sobriety or fall asleep, including the history and the science of it.
